Keeps abreast of happenings throughout the Verde Valley and the State and promotes trail preservation, open space, awareness of our historic origins and common sense use of our natural resources.

Has a minimum of meetings, but enjoys the camaraderie of other horsemen at potlucks, Christmas parties, annual meeting dinner, etc.

Uses their horses on the trails, in horse shows, in play days and on summer campouts.

Some spectacular rides sponsored by the Verde Valley Horsemen's Council include Monument Valley, Canyon De CheIly and Havasupai Canyon.

The Verde Valley and northern Arizona provide a sight-seer's paradise.
